Zelensky announces arrival of 11 aircraft with medical cargo for Ukraine

Three aircraft with personal protective equipment and medical cargo to combat the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are expected to arrive in Ukraine in coming days, and another eight aircraft are due to come next week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.

"These days we are waiting for the arrival of three aircraft that continue to deliver personal protective equipment and medical equipment," Zelensky said in a video address on Tuesday, April 14.

According to him, eight aircraft with "valuable cargo" are to arrive at Boryspil Airport next week.

Zelensky said that the work to provide the country with everything needed to fight the coronavirus does not stop.
