Nineteen cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) have been registered in the Ukrainian army as of early Monday, April 13, the medical forces command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has reported.

"Nineteen cases of the acute respiratory disease Covid-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 have been recorded in the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 07:00 on April 13. Of these, one person recovered, and one died. Some 214 people are in isolation (including self-isolation). The number of servicemen whose isolation is coming to an end in the next three days is 25 people," the report reads.

The analysis of diseases among the military and civilians shows that the infection most commonly spreads during episodic meetings with friends and relatives who are not among people you interact with daily or live together.

The medical forces command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces calls for compliance with the rules of quarantine and personal hygiene.
