Ukraine reports 2,511 coronavirus cases, including 73 deaths

Ukraine has confirmed 308 new coronavirus Covid-19 cases over the past day, bringing the total number to 2,511, according to the Health Ministry of Ukraine.

"As of 09:00 on April 11, Ukraine had 2,511 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases, including 73 lethal cases, according to the Public Health Centre. Some 79 patients have recovered. Over the past day, 308 new cases have been recorded,” the ministry wrote on its Facebook page.

In particular, coronavirus cases in Ukraine were confirmed in:

Vinnytsia region – 151 cases;

Volyn region – 52 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 55 cases;

Donetsk region – 11 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 74 cases;

Zakarpattia region – 60 cases;

Zaporizhzhia region – 64 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 274 cases;

Kirovohrad region – 106 cases;

Kyiv city – 396 cases;

Kyiv region – 149 cases;

Lviv region – 96 cases;

Luhansk region – 3 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 0 cases;

Odesa region – 51 cases;

Poltava region – 24 cases;

Rivne region – 103 cases;

Sumy region – 69 cases;

Ternopil region – 208 cases;

Kharkiv region – 8 cases;

Kherson region – 28 cases;

Khmelnytskyi region – 18 cases;

Chernivtsi region – 409 cases;

Cherkasy region – 93 cases;

Chernihiv region – 9 cases.

Data on the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions are not available.
