Seventeen Ukrainians recover from coronavirus abroad

Seventeen Ukrainian citizens have managed to recover from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) abroad, according to the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on the latest information about Covid-19 in the world.

In particular, four Ukrainians beat the infection in the Dominican Republic, four in Japan, two each in Poland and Italy, and one each in Britain, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, and Germany.

According to the Foreign Ministry, five Ukrainians died of the coronavirus abroad.

Some 14,624 Ukrainians sought assistance from diplomatic institutions abroad under the Protection system, the report said.

As of April 7, more than 1.36 million coronavirus cases were reported worldwide. More than 76,000 people died, and more than 293,000 recovered.

A total of 1,462 coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine as of April 7. Forty-five people died, and 28 patients recovered.
