Participants in a daily conference call chaired by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the fight against the spread of coronavirus have considered introducing more stringent quarantine measures, the press service of the head of state has reported.

"The possibility of introducing additional, more stringent quarantine measures was considered at the meeting. In particular, the introduction of the regime 'all in masks' from April 6 to April 24 and restrictions on the number of people in the street were discussed," the report reads.

It notes that the peak incidence of coronavirus is expected during the Easter holidays.

"To prevent this, the authorities have held talks with all television groups on the broadcasting of Easter services. Only three TV channels have not responded to such broadcasts so far, but negotiations with them are ongoing," the report said.
