Social Policy Ministry, Red Cross Society to unite efforts during quarantine

Social Policy Minister Maryna Lazebna held a meeting with representatives of the Red Cross Society and discussed the issues of cooperation during the COVID-19 quarantine, the ministry’s press service wrote on Facebook.
"The Social Policy Ministry called on the international and non-governmental organizations to join projects of assistance to people, primarily, single elderly persons and people with disabilities. In this difficult period, we must join our efforts," Lazebna said.
Representatives of the Red Cross Society said they would participate in joint social projects of the ministry, a large network of volunteer organizations (volunteers) will be involved for this purpose. The projects will also include supplies of food kits and personal hygiene products, as well as personal protective equipment for workers providing social services to citizens.
