Foreign Ministry: Over 78,500 Ukrainians return home

With the assistance of diplomatic missions, 78,592 Ukrainian citizens returned home from abroad as of March 24, according to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.

Also, eighteen Ukrainians infected with the coronavirus COVID-19 are currently being treated abroad: five Ukrainians in Germany, four - in the Dominican Republic, two each in Poland, Italy, the UAE, and one each in Spain, the Seychelles, the Netherlands1.

Some 152 Ukrainians abroad are in self-isolation: 106 Ukrainians – in Poland, 16 - in Brazil, eight - in Vietnam, three - in the UAE, two each - in Australia, Moldova, the USA, and one each – in the Netherlands, Qatar, Cuba, China, Romania and Montenegro.

Six Ukrainian citizens abroad recovered from the coronavirus: four Ukrainians = in Japan, one each in Italy and Poland.  

Three Ukrainian citizens died from the coronavirus abroad.

As Ukrinform reported, as of the morning of March 25, Ukraine had 113 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases, including three lethal cases.
