Foreign Ministry: 21 Ukrainians infected with COVID-19 being treated abroad

Twenty-one Ukrainians infected with the coronavirus COVID-19 are currently being treated abroad.

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine wrote this on Facebook referring to the data as of 9 p.m. on March 23.

In particular, five Ukrainians are being treated in Germany, four – in the Dominican Republic, three - in Italy, two each – in Poland and the UAE, one each - in Spain, the Netherlands and Seychelles.

At the same time, six Ukrainian citizens recovered from the coronavirus: four in Japan and one each in Italy and Poland.

In addition, 151 Ukrainians abroad are in self-isolated: 105 Ukrainians – in Poland, 16 - in Brazil, eight - in Vietnam, seven - in the UAE, two each - in Australia, Moldova and the USA, and one each – in the Netherlands, Qatar, Cuba, China, Romania and Montenegro.

Three Ukrainian citizens died from the coronavirus abroad.

According to the Foreign Ministry, 72,305 of Ukrainians citizens returned to Ukraine with the assistance of diplomatic missions.

As of the morning of March 24, 84 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Ukraine, including three lethal cases.
