Ukraine confirms 84 coronavirus cases

As of 10:00, March 24, a total of 84 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Ukraine.

“According to the data of the Public Health Centre, 84 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Ukraine as of 10:00, March 24. Three cases were lethal. One patient recovered and was discharged from hospital. Eleven new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours,” the Ministry of Health of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

In particular, coronavirus cases have been already confirmed in: Dnipropetrovsk region - 2 cases; Donetsk region - 1 case; Zhytomyr region - 2 cases (1 lethal); Ivano-Frankivsk region - 5 cases (1 lethal); Kyiv city - 29 cases; Kyiv region - 15 cases, including 10 cases confirmed in last 24 hours; Lviv region - 2 cases; Ternopil region - 2 cases, including 1 case confirmed in last 24 hours; Chernivtsi region - 25 cases (1 lethal, 1 recovery); Cherkasy region – 1 case.

The tests are conducted by the virus reference laboratory of the Public Health Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the regional laboratories.
