Almost 26,000 Ukrainians return home from abroad over past day

The State Border Guard Service has reported a decrease in passenger and transport traffic along the entire state border, according to the press service of the agency.  

“Over the past day, officers of the State Border Guard Service registered 45.7 thousand people. Of them, more than 27.6 thousand people entered Ukraine and more than 18 thousand citizens left the country,” reads the statement.

It notes that out of the total number of persons, the state border was crossed by almost 41,000 Ukrainian nationals, who mostly (25,800) returned home from abroad.

Over the past day, the State Border Guard Service registered 4,800 foreign nationals, of whom over 3,000 left Ukraine. Over 80 foreign nationals were denied entry to Ukraine.

In addition, 12,700 vehicles were registered, with almost the same number at entry and exit checkpoints.
