Foreign Ministry: Eight Ukrainian coronavirus patients treated abroad, over 700 isolated

Eight Ukrainian citizens infected with Covid-19 coronavirus are treated abroad, 748 Ukrainians have been isolated.

"Eight Ukrainian citizens receive treatment abroad: two people – in Germany, two – in Italy and two – in Poland, one person – in Moldova and one – in the UAE," Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced such data as of 23:30 on March 16 on his Twitter account.

According to the minister, five citizens of Ukraine recovered after coronavirus treatment.

A total of 748 citizens of Ukraine were isolated, in particular, 712 people - in Egypt (in two hotels), 16 people – in Japan, 16 people – in Brazil, three people – in Moldova, one person – in the Russian Federation.

One Ukrainian citizen died of coronavirus in Italy on March 13.

A total of 294 Ukrainian citizens were evacuated: 45 people – from China on 25 February, 37 people – from the Grand Princess cruise ship on March 12 and 16, 123 people – from Italy on March 15, 15 people – from Greece and 74 people – from Lebanon on March 16.
