Two Russian businessmen who illegally visited Russia-occupied Crimea have been banned from entering Ukraine for three years, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's press service has reported on Facebook.

"Two Russian businessmen, a man and a woman who illegally visited the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, were identified by border guards at Kyiv's Zhuliany Airport yesterday while checking a flight from Warsaw. They were planning to get U.S. visas in our country," the report reads.

According to the report, the persons expected the procedure for obtaining U.S. visas in Ukraine to be faster than in Russia.

"From now on, these entrepreneurs will have enough time to wait for a U.S. permit outside Ukraine, because they have been banned from visiting our country for three years due to the violation of the rules of entry into and exit from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine," the Interior Ministry said.
