The UWC also thanked newly appointed Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Vadym Prystaiko for his service as foreign minister, the UWC said on its Facebook page.
“We would like to thank Vadym Prystaiko for his service as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and are confident that, in his new role, he will continue to work to strengthen Ukraine’s European and EuroAtlantic aspirations. We also welcome the statement by the new Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba recognizing Ukrainians living outside Ukraine as an important priority area for the Minister,” the post reads.
The UWC also stressed that "the Ukrainian World Congress looks forward to further developing diaspora ties with Ukraine and jointly advocating for the interests of the Ukrainian people, no matter where they live."
As Ukrinform reported, on March 4, the Verkhovna Rada approved a new Cabinet of Ministers, which now will be headed by Denys Shmyhal.
