“By this decree, we, in particular, amend the existing procedure for providing subventions to support persons with special educational needs. The amendments will give local authorities more powers to redistribute subventions,” Education and Science Minister Hanna Novosad explained.

According to the Education and Science Ministry, as of the beginning of 2019, more than 12,000 Ukrainian children with special educational needs studied in inclusive classes. As of the beginning of 2020, there were 19,345 students.
