In order to create a “state in a smartphone”, it is important for Ukraine to examine the experience in this field and to adopt the best world practices.

“Nowadays, Ukraine develops rapidly in IT and digital area, including in the public sector. We have set an ambitious task – to create a "state in a smartphone", where the vast majority of public services will be provided online. That is why it is important for us to examine the best experience in this field and to adopt the best world practices,” Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmytro Razumkov said during his visit to the e-Estonia center, the Ukrainian Parliament press service reports.

A significant difference between the size of population of Estonia and Ukraine does not mean that it will be much more difficult for Ukrainian developers to create such a system of e-governance, Razumkov noted.

“Today we take the first successful steps in Ukraine: the application Diya and e-service e-Maliatko were launched. Of course, we will not be able to create e-Ukraine in nine months, but I am sure that we will achieve this goal over time,” the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.

As reported, Razumkov started his official visit to Estonia on February 25.
