The visa-free stay of Ukrainians in Argentina, extended up to 90 days within 180 days, will take effect on March 14.

"From March 14, the period of visa-free stay of Ukrainian citizens in the territory of Argentina doubles: from 90 days within a calendar year up to 90 days within 180 days," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine posted the announcement on Facebook.

A similar simplification is mutually applied by the Ukrainian side to the citizens of Argentina, the Foreign Ministry informed.

In July 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an order to sign a protocol between the governments of Ukraine and Argentina to amend the visa waiver agreement, increasing the period of visa-free stay in the territories of the states.

On November 21, 2019, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko and Ambassador of Argentina to Ukraine Elena L.T.Mikusinski signed a corresponding protocol.
