Number of coronavirus cases decreasing every day – Ukrainian Health Ministry

The incidence of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is decreasing, Ukraine's Deputy Health Minister Viktor Liashko has said.
"Over the past four days, there has been a trend towards a decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases per day. There were 1,775 deaths from January 1, 2020 until now. There is data from China that more than 11,000 deaths recovered after an acute respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus," Liashko said at a briefing on Monday.
He noted that the COVID-19 death rate is 3%.
Some 71,710 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases were recorded worldwide as of the morning of February 17.
