Nearly 60% of Ukrainians say situation in Ukraine developing in wrong direction - poll

A total of 58.1% of Ukrainian citizens believe that the events in Ukraine are developing in the wrong direction, according to a survey published by the Center for Social Monitoring and the Oleksandr Yaremenko Ukrainian Institute for Social Research.

When asked whether the events in Ukraine are going in the right or wrong direction, 39.3% said they were developing in the right direction, 58.1% said they were developing in the wrong direction, and 2.6% failed to answer.

The study was conducted from January 24 to January 28, 2020. A total of 2,003 respondents aged 18 and over were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine, except Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The poll's margin of error does not exceed 2.24% with a probability of 0.95.
