Record number of Ukrainian tourists visit Thailand in 2019

More than 100,000 Ukrainians visited the Kingdom of Thailand in 2019, Ambassador of Ukraine to Thailand, Laos, Myanmar Andriy Beshta has said.
"According to the Thai Immigration Bureau, in 2019, more than 100,000 Ukrainians visited the Kingdom of Thailand - a record number since Ukraine gained independence; 25,000 more than in 2018," Beshta wrote on his Twitter account.
According to him, this happened due to the introduction by Thailand of a visa-free regime for Ukrainian tourists since April 2019.
