Over 4.3 mln ID cards issued to Ukrainians over past four years

The State Migration Service of Ukraine has issued over 4.3 million ID cards to Ukrainians, according to the Interior Ministry.
"The State Migration Service of Ukraine has issued over 4.3 million ID cards over the past four years," the ministry’s press service wrote on Facebook.
In particular, about 280 ID cards were registered in 2016, over 1.1 million – in 2017, over 1.3 million – in 2018, and about 1.6 million in 2019.
The ministry notes that holders of Ukrainian passports issued since 1994 can exchange them for ID cards, and every Ukrainian citizen aged 14 and above can obtain an ID card
