Unified register of Ukrainians to be created in one or two years

A unified register of Ukrainians is expected to be created in one or two years and filled out simultaneously from many registers.
"I hope that in one or two years we will manage to complete a major project to launch a unified register of Ukrainians that will be verified and filled out simultaneously from many registers," Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Dmytro Dubilet said at a press conference at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He also expressed hope that Ukraine’s population size, gender and age composition and other statistical information would become known next year.
The estimate of Ukraine’s population size made by the Government showed that 37 million 289 thousand citizens currently live in the country.
