Over 20 tonnes of humanitarian cargo sent to Donbas

Humanitarian aid worth almost UAH 800,000 was sent to Donbas, according to the press service of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters.

More than 20 tonnes of construction materials were handed over to the civilian and military administrations of the cities of Krasnohorivka and Marinka, the municipal healthcare establishments of the Mariinsky Central District Hospital and the Center of Primary Healthcare of the Mariinsky District Council.

"The project ‘Help East’ is much needed today, especially in the towns and villages located directly near the contact line. Therefore, this humanitarian initiative will continue to evolve and develop. Another shipment of humanitarian aid consisting of medical products will be soon sent to the territorial healthcare association of Stanytsia Luhanska, Svitlodarsk City Hospital and the regional traumatology center in the city of Lyman,” Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev said.

A reminder that since the launch of the project “Help East”, a total of 65 tonnes of humanitarian cargo worth over UAH 15 million has been delivered to Donbas.
