First Lady Olena Zelenska initiates Ukraine's accession to the Biarritz Partnership for promoting gender equality.

"Speaking about global cooperation, I would like to draw your attention to the Biarritz Partnership which was founded by the G7 countries on August 25 this year. Today, I think that the idea of Ukraine's accession to this wonderful initiative is quite logical. So I want to share with you the news regarding Ukraine's further steps towards accession. First, I am initiating Ukraine's accession to the international Biarritz Partnership. I appeal to the President and the Cabinet of Ministers," Zelenska said at the opening ceremony of the Third Ukrainian Women's Congress, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

She noted that the working group coordinator would soon prepare a letter addressed to the President with a request to authorize Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Dmytro Kuleba to complete the accession process.

The Biarritz Partnership was launched by G7 leaders to ensure gender equality.
