Metropolitan Epiphanius and SBU Chief Bakanov discuss interfaith relations, Donbas and Crimea

Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Metropolitan Epiphanius and Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Ivan Bakanov discussed a number of important issues of interfaith and interchurch relations in the state.
"On December 1, 2019, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine met with Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov ... The parties discussed a number of topical issues of interfaith and interchurch relations in our state," the SBU’s press center reports.
Also, Metropolitan Epiphanius told the guests about the formation and development of the local Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
In addition, they discussed the situation in the annexed Crimea and in the occupied territories of Donbas.
