Revenues from tourism fees in Vinnytsia grow almost sixfold

In January-September 2019, revenues from tourism fees have grown almost sixfold in the city of Vinnytsia compared with the relevant period last year, up to UAH 1.4 million.
Director of the finance department at the Vinnytsia City Council, Natalia Lutsenko, stated this, the council’s press service reported.
“Revenues from tourism fees make up a small share in the budget revenues. At the same time, after the introduction of a new procedure for calculating tourism fees during the reporting period, revenues over the nine months of the current year increased almost 5.7 times," Lutsenko said.
In particular, in January-September 2019, the budget of Vinnitsa city received UAH 1,385,200 of tourism taxes compared with UAH 244,100 transferred in January-September 2018.
In general, the city budget received UAH 3.612 billion over the first nine months of 2019, Natalia Lutsenko added.
