Ferries will start running from the Ukrainian city of Chornomorsk, Odesa region, to the Italian city of Bari, according to the Government portal.
“A ferry will go from Chornomorsk (Ukraine) to Bari (Italy)! This issue was discussed during the working visit of a delegation of the Ukrainian Government to Italy,” the report says.
Bari is a city located on the south eastern coast of Italy. It is the second most important economic centre of mainland Southern Italy after Naples (the third after Palermo if insular Italy is included), a port and university city, as well as the city of Saint Nicholas.
Chornomorsk is one of the largest ports of Ukraine, with turnover of 21.5 million tonnes in 2018.
