Cherry Festival to be held in Zaporizhzhia region

A festival of sweet cherry will be held in the town of Melitopol of Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine on Friday, June 7, the press service of Melitopol City Council has reported.
"Melitopol is famous for the most delicious sweet cherry not only in Ukraine, but also far beyond its borders. Since 2011, in the summer, our town traditionally hosts the Cherry Festival. This year’s grand event will be held for the eighth time," reads the report.
It is noted that last year the event gathered a record number of guests - about 7,000 people. At the same time, the annual number of the festival participants is growing.
