U.S. welcomes Ukraine's decision to lift age limit on free measles vaccine

The United States Embassy in Ukraine welcomed the Ukrainian Government’s decision on lifting age restrictions on free measles vaccination.

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has reported this on its official Twitter page.

“We welcome the Government of Ukraine’s step to make the measles vaccine available to all Ukrainians, regardless of age, for free. Vaccinations are necessary to prevent threats from emerging or spreading infectious diseases. Get vaccinated,” the report reads.

As reported, the Health Ministry of Ukraine announced the abolition of age restrictions on free measles vaccination. Adults of any age can now also be vaccinated for free against measles, mumps, and rubella.
