Number of Turkish students in Ukraine exceed 3,000 – ambassador

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkey Andrii Sybiha wrote this on Twitter following his meeting with Turkey's Minister of National Education Ziya Selcuk.

"We already have certain achievements in the field of education - the Ukrainian language at universities and schools in Turkey, scholarships, and 3,254 Turkish students in Ukraine. We also have equally ambitious goals - renewing the agreement, establishing the interdepartmental commission, the next meeting of rectors," Sybiha wrote.

As reported, the number of those willing to learn Ukrainian in Turkey has increased significantly in recent years and is still growing. A week ago, Ukrainian language courses for foreigners were launched in the city of Samsun in north Turkey.
