Poroshenko: Restoring space capabilities among Ukraine’s main priorities

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated scientists and employees of Ukraine’s space industry on their professional holiday and the International Day of Human Space Flight, the president’s press service reported.
"Due to your ideas and developments, selfless work, participation in international space activities on the global stage, the image of Ukraine as a technologically developed state with an extremely high intellectual potential has been formed," he said.
President Poroshenko stressed that restoring capabilities of the space industry is among Ukraine’s main priorities.
According to him, the effective cooperation with foreign partners in implementing space projects returns to Ukraine the position of a state with modern rocket technologies.
