State border guards deny entry to Ukraine for almost 10,000 people this year

Employees of the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service have denied entry into Ukraine for almost 10,000 people since the start of the year.
“9,984 people were refused entry. 11,965 protocols on administrative violations were concluded. Total fines for administrative violations exceeded UAH 27 million,” reads the report posted on the State Border Guard Service’s website.
Also, 564 illegal migrants were detained and 1,812 potential illegal migrants were denied entry.
The State Border Guard Services clarified that the report included data recorded in January-March 2019.
