Germany, Finland to provide EUR 58 mln for education reform in Ukraine
“The Torino Process will also support the EU Programme “EU4Skills: Better Skills for Modern Ukraine”, which will be launched soon. The EU and its member states Germany and Finland will provide EUR 58 mln under this programme to support development of professional and educational standards according to the labour market needs, drafting new curricula, retrain teachers and management staff in Ukraine, promote vocational education, and to modernise VET infrastructure,” reads the statement of the EU Delegation to Ukraine posted on Facebook.
Ukraine as a member of the European Training Foundation has participated in the Torino Process since its establishment in 2010.
In particular, Ukraine actively cooperates with the European Training Foundation to improve the national vocational education and training system as regards the implementation of European standards.
