Seven Ukrainians in Forbes billionaires list

Seven billionaires from Ukraine have been included in the latest Forbes ranking of the world's richest individuals, according to a statement posted on the Forbes website.

The richest Ukrainian is Rinat Akhmetov, owner of SCM, Metinvest and DTEK, who took 272nd place in the table with a fortune of $6 billion. He is followed by Ferrexpo owner Kostiantyn Zhevago ($1.5 billion), MHP owner Yuriy Kosiuk ($1.4 billion), as well as Victor Pinchuk ($1.4 billion), Hennadiy Boholiubov ($1.2 billion), Ihor Kolomoisky ($1.1 billion), and Vadim Novinsky ($1 billion).

It is noteworthy that Novinsky, who owns Smart Holding, returned to this ranking after a four-year break. He currently occupies spot No. 2057.

The richest man on the planet is Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon and the Blue Origin space agency. He also headed the Forbes billionaires list last year.
