Most Ukrainians would support accession to EU

Most Ukrainian citizens would support Ukraine's accession to the European Union if a referendum took place in the near future.

According to the results of the poll conducted by the Center for Social and Marketing Research “SOCIS”, 57.1% of respondents would vote for Ukraine's accession to the European Union on a referendum; 24.2% of Ukrainians would vote against; 11.7% of respondents were undecided; 7% of Ukrainians would not take part in the referendum.

At the same time, 44.3% of Ukrainians would support accession to NATO; 32.3% of respondents would vote against; 16.2% of respondents were undecided; 7.3% of Ukrainian citizens would not go to such a referendum.

The poll was conducted on February 8-18, 2019. 2,000 respondents were interviewed in all the regions of Ukraine except for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The sampling error is about 2.1%.
