If the presidential election in Ukraine were held next Sunday, comedian Volodymyr Zelensky and incumbent President Petro Poroshenko would come to the run-off, according to a nationwide survey conducted by the Razumkov Center's sociological service from February 7 to 14, 2019.

The research shows that 17.5% of all respondents are planning to vote for Zelensky (19% among those who intend to take part in the election). Some 13.1% of those polled support Poroshenko (16.8% among those who will probably go to the polls), and 11.5% back Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko (13.8% of those planning to cast their votes).

Some 5.9% of all respondents and 7.3% of those who will come to the election are planning to vote for Civil Position Party leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko, 6.3% and 7.1%, respectively, for co-chair of the Opposition Platform – For Life Party Yuriy Boiko, and 4.3% and 4.8%, respectively, for Radical Party leader Oleh Liashko.

Each of the remaining registered presidential candidates would collect less than 3% of the vote.

If Zelensky and Poroshenko reach the second round of the presidential election, 32.2% of respondents are planning to vote for Zelensky and 19.1% for Poroshenko.

If Zelensky and Tymoshenko advance to the second round of the presidential election, 28.7% of respondents are planning to vote for Zelensky and 18.6% for Tymoshenko.

If Tymoshenko and Poroshenko come to the second round of the presidential election, both of them have equal chances of victory - the difference of percentage received by each of these candidates is statistically insignificant (22.4% and 20% respectively), according to a press release from the Razumkov Center.

If the parliamentary election were held in Ukraine in the near future, the following parties and blocs would win seats on the Verkhovna Rada - the Servant of the People Party (18% of those who will go to the polls are ready to vote for the party), Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Union (15.4%), the Petro Poroshenko Bloc's Solidarity Party (14.9%), the Civil Position Party (8%), the Opposition Platform - For Life Party (6.6%), and Oleh Liashko's Radical Party (5%).

A nationwide survey was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from February 7 to 14, 2019, in all regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea and occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. A total of 2,016 respondents aged over 18 were interviewed. The poll's margin of error does not exceed 2.3%.
