Ukraine launches register of corrupt individuals
"The single state register of persons who committed corruption or corruption-related offenses has begun to function," the report reads.
The register contains information about individuals who have been brought to criminal, administrative, disciplinary or civil liability for committing corruption or corruption-related offenses, as well as legal entities to which criminal law measures have been applied in connection with the commission of a corruption offense.
The certificate for legal entities is formed on the basis of the data indicated in the digital signature of the legal entity by searching in the register for the name of the legal entity, the code in the single state register of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and public formations, and the identification code of the legal entity of another country (for non-residents).
A registered user may receive a certificate regarding himself or herself on the basis of personal data specified in his or her digital signature.
The register is free and available 24 hours a day through the official website of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.
The register provides for the independent and free receipt of a certificate by legal entities - participants in public procurement.
