A mission of the European Union will consider the possibility of supporting infrastructure projects in the ports of the Sea of Azov, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) has reported.

"The goal of the EU mission, which will work in Ukraine until February 2, is to assess the effect of Russian aggression in the Sea of Azov on the economic and social situation in the Azov Sea region and the possibility of joint implementation of a number of infrastructure projects in the region," the report says.

As previously reported, Deputy Infrastructure Minister Viktor Dovhan stressed the importance of the EU’s assistance in the preparation of projects for EUR 500 million.
