Third French Airbus helicopter arrives in Ukraine

The third Airbus military helicopter has arrived in Ukraine and is intended for the needs of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Center for Transport Strategies (CTS) has reported.

“The third Airbus Helicopter H225 Super Puma has arrived in Ukraine. It will be used by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine,” the report says.

The helicopter made a technical stop at Ivano-Frankivsk International Airport, during which it was photographed. The helicopter will be used by a special aviation unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

On July 14, 2018, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry and France's Airbus Helicopters signed an agreement on the purchase of 55 helicopters. In December 2018, Ukraine received two helicopters under the contract with the French company Airbus Helicopters.
