More than 2 mln Ukrainians already taken advantage of visa free regime with EU - president

More than two million Ukrainians in a year and a half have already taken advantage of a visa free regime with the EU.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this during his speech at the forum entitled "From Kruty to Brussels. We are going our way" in Kyiv on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"Many did not believe that there would be a visa free regime. And many said that they did not need it. But for a year and a half, more than two million people already took advantage of the right to visa-free travel to Europe," Poroshenko said.
As of today, the number of citizens who received biometric passports exceeded 10 million, the president noted.
