Groysman: State budget envisages UAH 2 bln for free medical examination

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that the state budget for 2019 envisages UAH 2 billion for free diagnostics and medical tests for Ukrainians.

In a post on his Facebook page, Groysman wrote: "UAH 2 billion is envisaged in the 2019 state budget for the program”.

According to him, the program will be launched on July 1, 2019. It includes 54 types of tests, including 6 types of ultrasound examinations, 4 types of biopsy procedures, mammography, 5 types of X-rays, as well consultations of specialists. Any patient can have free medical examination, if family doctors issue relevant referrals, Groysman wrote.
