The Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus performed Christmas carols at the residence of Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland.

The musical ensemble wrote this on its official Facebook page.

“Our caroling ensemble was welcomed into the home of Chrystia Freeland, Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs,” reads the report.

Members of the ensemble note that the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus of North America has “a long-standing tradition of caroling house-to-house.”

“Thank you to everyone in the Greater Toronto Area who warmly welcomed us in their homes! What a great way to begin 2019,” reads the report.

It is also noted that the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus in 2018 marked its 100th anniversary.
