Young Ukrainians in Australia wrote Christmas letters to Ukrainian prisoners, who are illegally held in Russia.
“Our campers [of National Summer Camp 2018-2019 in Buxton, Victoria,] have written Christmas greetings to Ukrainian political prisoners who are being illegally detained in Moscow prisons. We are in contact with Amnesty International to ensure the cards are delivered to the prisoners,” the Ukrainian Youth Association of Australia - CYM Australia posted on Facebook.
In turn, the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia thanked young Ukrainians for writing their greetings. "We express our sincere gratitude to the Ukrainian youth of Australia for writing New Year and Christmas greetings to Ukrainian prisoners who are illegally held in Russia," the Embassy posted on Facebook.
