Border Guard Service names most popular travel destinations of Ukrainians

The most popular travel destinations of Ukrainians this year were six European countries, as well as Egypt and Turkey, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
"Statistics show that the leading positions on trips of Ukrainians in 2018, as well as last year, are taken by Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Belarus, Slovakia, Egypt (an increase by 350,000 tourists) and Turkey," reads the report.
The Border Guard Service also noted an increase in trips of Ukrainians to Germany (+165 thousand), Italy (+125 thousand), Spain (+50 thousand), Greece and Denmark (+30 thousand), Austria and Cyprus (+25 thousand), Latvia (+ 20 thousand), Bulgaria and the Czech Republic (+15 thousand), Estonia and Switzerland (+10 thousand). The number of trips of Ukrainians to the United States and Israel remain at the same level as last year.
