Most Ukrainians do not plan to leave the country – poll

Most Ukrainians do not plan to leave the country, according to a poll conducted by the Razumkov Center.

"63% of respondents said they have no intentions to leave Ukraine. 13% of those polled said they plan to go for temporary stay and return when the situation in the country gets better, 7% said they are ready to leave for permanent residence, others were undecided,” said Deputy Director General of the Razumkov Center Yuriy Yakymenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

At the same time, the survey shows that among young people under the age of 29, the percentage of those who want to leave is 47% against 38% of those who do not want to.

The survey was conducted in June 2018 in all regions of Ukraine, except for the occupied Crimea and some areas in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. A total of 2,021 respondents aged over 18 were interviewed. The poll's margin of error does not exceed 2.3%.
