Government to allocate UAH 1 bln for construction of rural clinics in 2019

The state budget for the next year envisages UAH 1 billion for the construction of rural clinics, the press service of the Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Ministry reports.
"The construction of new modern medical facilities in villages and improving the quality of primary healthcare delivery system is a task set by President Poroshenko, and next year we will continue to implement it. The budget for the 2019 year envisages UAH 1 billion of subventions, which will be spent on the reform of rural healthcare,” said Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Minister Lev Partskhaladze.
He also reminded that UAH 5 billion was allocated for the reform of rural healthcare in 2017-2018.
