Hrynevych: State budget envisages UAH 1 bln for primary school

The state budget for 2019 envisages UAH 1 billion for the Ukrainian primary school, according to the Education and Science Minister Lilia Hrynevych.
“We have again allocated the same investments totaling UAH 1 billion for the new educational space for the next year. Now it is extremely important for us to get feedback from teachers and slightly revise the list of recommended equipment to purchase. In 2019, the Education Ministry will try to transfer money to the local authorities even earlier, but it all depends on their management capacity,” Hrynevych said during her working visit to Lviv region, the Government portal reports.
It was noted that the 2019 state budget provides for UAH 50 million for the modernization of vocational education - the creation of educational and practical centers with modern equipment for the professions that the labor market needs most of all.
