Lebanon hosts Ukrainian Film Festival

The 3rd Ukrainian Film Festival in Lebanon is held in five cities, namely: Zahle, Beirut, Tripoli, Saida and Tyre.

"The 3rd Ukrainian Film Festival in Lebanon will take place between November 30 and December 9, 2018 in Zahle, Beirut, Tripoli, Saida and Tyre," the Embassy of Ukraine in the Lebanese Republic reported.

The program of the festival includes the following Ukrainian films: "Cyborgs", "Brama", "Bitter harvest", "Volkano" and Ukrainian classic film "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors".

The festival is organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Ukraine in Lebanon, the Ukrainian State Film Agency, the Lebanese Cultural Centre KYIV and the Lebanese University (Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture).

The aim of the festival is to show films that promote the development and strengthening of cultural communication between Ukraine and Lebanon. The festival aims to identify and promote talented works of cinema that reflect the ethnic diversity of the modern world and the ways of co-existence of different peoples in terms of world globalization.
