Level of trust in Ukraine's judiciary has improved significantly - Mingarelli

The situation with the level of trust in the judiciary in Ukraine has improved significantly since 2015, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli has said.
He said this while presenting a report of the EU "Pravo-Justice" Project, entitled "Selection and Evaluation of Judges," in Kyiv on November 23, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The situation with the level of trust in the judiciary has improved significantly since 2015. It means that Ukraine is doing a very good job and contributing to the increase of people's trust in the judiciary, Mingarelli said.
According to him, there are mistakes, but there are also many achievements.
We hope that we will be able to meet the Ukrainian society's demand for changes, and we hope that the changes that are taking place will change the mentality of the population, Mingarelli said.
