Consular fee for e-Visa in Ukraine to grow to $85

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to expand the grounds for the issuance of e-Visas to foreigners to entry Ukraine from January 1, 2019 and to increase the list of countries whose citizens have the right for applying for such visas, the Government portal reports.

"The Cabinet of Ministers has approved amendments to the Rules for issuing visas for entry into Ukraine and transit through its territory, which provides for the application of a number of new procedures from January 1, 2019, …  in particular, expanding the list of grounds for issuing the e-Visa. Apart from the business and tourist purposes, e-Visas are introduced for traveling to Ukraine for private purposes, treatment, for the activities in the sphere of culture, science, education, sports, as well as for media representatives," reads the report.

Also, under the government’s decision, the consular fee for e-Visas is raised from $65 to $85.
