Tuka: There can be 30-40% less IDPs than the registered

The Ukrainian authorities have lost control over the actual number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the government-controlled territories of Ukraine,” according to Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs Heorhiy Tuka.
He stated this at the international conference "Payment of Pensions in Ukraine: How to Implement the Constitutional Right to Pension" in Kyiv, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"We have lost control over the actual number of IDPs, which does not allow us to predict the further actions of the government ... According to the estimates of the Donetsk Military and Civil Administration, the number of registered IDPs varies by about 30-40% compared to the actual number. But again, this is biased data," he said.
